Getting started
Signing up, the setup tour, and putting Logidex on your phone.
- The setup order that works, and why it is in that order
Four steps, and each one feeds the next. Doing them out of order means redoing work, so this explains what depends on what.
- Step 1 — Customize: teaching Logidex your business
Your words, the details you keep on people and jobs, your message templates, and your inquiry form. Everything else depends on this.
- Step 2 — Connecting the tools you already use
Your outside form, Google Calendar and invoicing. Start this early, because it is the step that will get your information to where it needs to be.
- Step 3 — Drawing your travel areas
Draw where you work, set the distance everyone covers for free, and give your team common travel setups to pick from. All of it has to exist before you invite them.
- Step 4 — Adding your team and inviting them
Import a spreadsheet or add people one at a time. The invite is the part that matters, and this explains why.
- Notes: a shared notebook for your admins
Keep pay rates, venue quirks and who-to-call-first lists in one place every admin on your team can read and edit. Your staff never see it.
- Your home page, card by card
What each card on your home page is counting, what makes something appear on it, and how to move or hide the cards you do not use.
