No map or miles on a booking
The map, the miles and the Match & assign map all come from finding the booking's address. When that has not worked, here is how to fix it.
Three things on a booking all depend on Logidex finding its address on a map:
- the small map beside the address in When & where
- the miles away next to each person in Match & assign
- the map under Match & assign
If all three are missing, the address has not been placed yet. It is one problem, not three.
1. Open the booking again
Every time a booking is opened, Logidex checks whether it has been placed on the map. If not, it tries again on the spot. Most of the time that is all it takes.
If you still do not see a map, refresh the page (Cmd + Shift + R on a Mac).
2. Check the address
If it still will not place, the address itself is usually the problem. Logidex looks up the street address, city, state and ZIP together. The venue name is not used.
Look for:
- a street address that is missing, or only has the venue's name in it
- a typo in the street or the city
- a ZIP that does not match the city
3. Save a corrected address
Click the part that is wrong, fix it, and save. Changing the address makes Logidex look it up again straight away, and the map appears.
Why it also matters for Google Calendar
The same lookup gives the booking its time zone. A booking that cannot be placed has no time zone, and Google will not accept an invite without one. Pushing it shows a message asking you to check the address, city and ZIP.
Fixing the address fixes both.
Still no map?
Email support@logidexhq.com with the booking's date and client name, and the address exactly as you typed it.
